Le giornate sono ancora calde, gli ombrelloni sono ancora sulla sabbia, e nell’ultimo weekend del mese il centro, il lungomare e la pineta si riempiono di scarpe da corsa: sabato 26 c’è la Bibione is Surprising Run, domenica 27 la Corsa delle Rose. Due giorni in cui la località si muove a piedi, prima di rallentare verso ottobre.
Ci trovate sempre al solito posto: il Chiosco Acquario è aperto dalle 9:30 alle 18:00 e la cucina lavora dalle 11:00 alle 16:00.
Sabato 26, la 10 miglia nel pomeriggio
La Bibione is Surprising Run è una gara di 10 miglia, poco più di 16 chilometri, organizzata dall’ASD Running Team Conegliano. Parte e arriva in Piazza Fontana e attraversa il centro, il lungomare e la pineta. Alle 16:30 parte la competitiva, riconosciuta FIDAL, e cinque minuti dopo la non competitiva, per chi corre senza guardare il cronometro. Domenica 27, la Corsa delle Rose
La domenica mattina tocca alla Corsa delle Rose. Si parte alle 10:00, sempre da Piazza Fontana, su due percorsi non competitivi, uno più corto e uno più lungo, da fare di corsa o camminando al tuo passo. È pensata soprattutto per le donne ma è aperta a tutti, e il ricavato, coperte le spese, sostiene le attività di prevenzione della LILT, la Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori. Cosa trovi a pranzo sulla spiaggia
La cucina chiude alle 16:00, mezz’ora prima della partenza. La domenica è il contrario: la Corsa delle Rose parte alle 10:00, la cucina apre alle 11:00, e dopo il traguardo hai tempo fino alle 16:00 per sederti a tavola.
Abbiamo 240 posti a sedere direttamente sulla sabbia e, negli orari della cucina, trovi di tutto: primi, pizza, sfizi, cicchetti da dividere e i piatti del giorno, con gli spaghetti alle vongole che da noi sono gli immancabili. Il menù del Chiosco Acquario a Bibione è sul sito, e se arrivate in gruppo conviene prenotare un tavolo per il pranzo sulla spiaggia di Bibione. Dopo pranzo El Chiringo, il chiringuito sulla sabbia annesso al Chiosco, resta aperto fino alle 18:00 per un caffè o un drink al sole.

Am Sonntagmorgen folgt die Corsa delle Rose. Start ist um 10:00 Uhr, ebenfalls an der Piazza Fontana, auf zwei Strecken ohne Wertung, einer kürzeren und einer längeren, zum Laufen oder Gehen in deinem Tempo. Sie richtet sich vor allem an Frauen, ist aber offen für alle, und der Erlös unterstützt nach Abzug der Kosten die Vorsorgearbeit der LILT, der italienischen Krebsliga.
Was du mittags am Strand findest
Die Küche schließt um 16:00 Uhr, eine halbe Stunde vor dem Start. Am Sonntag ist es umgekehrt: Die Corsa delle Rose startet um 10:00 Uhr, die Küche öffnet um 11:00 Uhr, und nach dem Ziel hast du bis 16:00 Uhr Zeit.

At the end of September Bibione changes pace. The days are still warm, the umbrellas are still on the sand, and on the last weekend of the month the town centre, the seafront promenade and the pine forest fill up with running shoes: the Bibione is Surprising Run on Saturday 26 September, the Corsa delle Rose on Sunday 27.
You will always find us in the usual place: the Chiosco Acquario is open from 9:30 to 18:00 and the kitchen runs from 11:00 to 16:00.
Saturday, 10 miles in the afternoon
The Bibione is Surprising Run is a 10-mile race, just over 16 kilometres, organised by ASD Running Team Conegliano. It starts and finishes in Piazza Fontana and runs through the town centre, along the promenade and into the pine forest. The competitive FIDAL race starts at 16:30, the non-competitive run five minutes later. Online registration is open until Thursday 24 September at noon: you can find the Bibione is Surprising Run programme on the Bibione tourism portal.
Sunday, the Corsa delle Rose
On Sunday morning it is the turn of the Corsa delle Rose. It starts at 10:00, again from Piazza Fontana, on two non-competitive routes, a shorter one and a longer one, to run or walk at your own pace. It is aimed mainly at women but open to everyone, and after costs the proceeds support the prevention work of LILT, the Italian League Against Cancer.
What you find for lunch on the beach
The kitchen closes at 16:00, half an hour before the start. Sunday is the other way round: the Corsa delle Rose starts at 10:00, the kitchen opens at 11:00, and after the finish line you have until 16:00 to sit down at a table.
We have 240 seats right on the sand and, during kitchen hours, you find everything: pasta, pizza, small plates, cicchetti to share and the dishes of the day, starting with our spaghetti alle vongole. The Chiosco Acquario menu in Bibione is on the website, and if you come as a group it is worth it to book a table for lunch on the beach in Bibione. After lunch El Chiringo, the beach bar on the sand next to the Chiosco, stays open until 18:00 for a coffee or a drink in the sun.
