A ottobre Bibione cambia passo. Durante la settimana il lungomare si attraversa in due minuti, la sabbia davanti al Chiosco Acquario resta larga e tranquilla, e a mezzogiorno il sole scalda ancora abbastanza da mangiare fuori senza pensarci. È il periodo in cui il pranzo sulla spiaggia smette di essere una corsa e torna a essere una pausa lunga.

Com’è la spiaggia durante la settimana

Da lunedì a venerdì la differenza si sente già mentre arrivi: niente coda alla cassa, nessuno in attesa di un tavolo, il rumore di fondo è quello del mare. Abbiamo 240 posti a sedere direttamente sulla sabbia, e in questo periodo non c’è ressa: anche a mezzogiorno e mezzo ti siedi senza aspettare. Se invece siete un gruppo conviene avvisare prima, e il modo più comodo è prenotare un tavolo per il pranzo sulla spiaggia a Bibione dal form del sito.

Im Oktober wechselt Bibione das Tempo. Unter der Woche ist die Strandpromenade in zwei Minuten überquert, der Sand vor dem Chiosco Acquario bleibt weit und ruhig, und mittags wärmt die Sonne noch genug, um draußen zu essen. Es ist die Zeit, in der das Mittagessen am Strand keine Hetze mehr ist, sondern wieder eine lange Pause.

Wie der Strand unter der Woche ist

Von Montag bis Freitag merkst du den Unterschied schon beim Ankommen: keine Schlange an der Kasse, niemand, der auf einen Tisch wartet, im Hintergrund nur das Meer. Wir haben 240 Sitzplätze direkt im Sand, und in dieser Zeit gibt es kein Gedränge: auch um halb eins setzt du dich hin, ohne zu warten. Was du mittags am Strand findest

Die Küche arbeitet von 11:00 bis 16:00 Uhr, und in dieser Zeit gibt es alles: Pastagerichte, Pizza, kleine Happen und Cicchetti zum Teilen, die Tagesgerichte und unsere unverzichtbaren Spaghetti alle vongole. In October Bibione changes pace. During the week you cross the seafront in two minutes, the sand in front of the Chiosco Acquario stays wide and quiet, and at midday the sun is still warm enough to eat outside without thinking about it. This is the time of year when lunch on the beach stops being a rush and goes back to being a long break.

What the beach is like during the week

From Monday to Friday you feel the difference as soon as you arrive: no queue at the till, nobody waiting for a table, and the sea as the background noise. We have 240 seats directly on the sand, and at this time of year there is no crush: even at half past twelve you sit down without waiting. If you are a group it is better to let us know, and the easiest way is to book a table for lunch on the beach in Bibione through the form on the website.

What you find for lunch on the beach

The kitchen works from 11:00 to 16:00 and in that window there is everything: pasta, pizza, small plates and cicchetti to share, the dishes of the day and our signature spaghetti alle vongole. You can also look through the Chiosco Acquario menu in Bibione here on the website, so you arrive with an idea of what to enjoy while looking at the sea. Keep it in mind: since mid-September lunch on the beach in Bibione has been the only service of the day, the kitchen closes at 16:00 and we close at 18:00.

Time to stay at the table

At 16:00 the kitchen stops, but the Chiosco stays open until 18:00. That is what changes most off season: once you have finished nobody asks for the table back, you can have a coffee or a drink and stay there while the light softens over the sea. Pure magic!
