Beach Restaurant and Bar in Bibione

In winter the beach in Bibione is a different place. With no umbrellas, in front of the tables of Chiosco Acquario there is only open sand down to the water and the open sea. That is what makes the trip worth it when the season is over: the sea on your table, time for a long lunch and the same kitchen as in summer.

Chiosco Acquario is a restaurant, pizzeria and cocktail bar right on the beach in Bibione, at Via Acquario 59. In winter we are open for lunch at weekends and on public holidays, from 9:30 to 18:00, with the kitchen open from 11:00 to 16:00.

Inside there is a heated dining room, and the toilets are heated too. Outside there are tables in the open air: when the sun is out you have lunch outside, with the sea in front of you.

And in winter there is Winteringo too: El Chiringo, our beach bar in Bibione, becomes Winteringo, with a drinks list made for the cold season.

If you are coming from further away, the trip pays you back with what summer does not have: open sand down to the water, low light over the sea and a table waiting for you, with no rush. Lunch stretches into the afternoon, with a coffee or a drink, until 18:00.

From 19 December to 6 January we are open every day for lunch, holidays included: on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day you have lunch with the sea in front of you, from 11:00 to 16:00, and stay on in the afternoon until 18:00. During the November break you can book Christmas lunch with the form on the website.

Is there a beach restaurant in Bibione that is open in winter?

Yes. Chiosco Acquario is right on the beach, at Via Acquario 59, and in winter it is open for lunch at weekends and on public holidays, from 9:30 to 18:00.

Can you eat indoors in the warm?

Yes. The dining room is heated, and so are the toilets. Outside there are tables for sunny days.

Are you open at Christmas and New Year?

Yes, for lunch. From 19 December to 6 January we are open every day from 9:30 to 18:00, with the kitchen open from 11:00 to 16:00.

What is Winteringo?

It is El Chiringo, the beach bar of Chiosco Acquario, in its winter version, with a drinks list made for the cold season.

Do I need to book?

In winter you can usually find a table without booking. For groups and on public holidays it is best to book with the form on the Reserve a table page.
